How to choose the size of your MT900 Air Insulator mattress

This model is available in L and XL sizes.

The difference between the two sizes is the length (183 cm for the L; 195 cm for the XL) and width (54 cm for size L; 63 cm for the XL).

To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that.

Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered.

So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!

How to inflate your MT900 Air insulating mattress

To prevent moisture from being blown into the mattress, we recommend that you use the pump bag in the pouch.

To do this, unroll the entire pump bag/pouch. Connect the valve of the pump bag to the “IN” valve of your mattress. Blow to about 10-20 cm from the inlet of the pump bag to inflate the main volume as much as possible. Roll the bag on itself up to the valve to push the air out of the main bag into your mattress

How to sleep well on your MT900 Air Insulator mattress

Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by pressing lightly on the IN valve (open cap). A mattress that is too hard is often synonymous with discomfort.



A special coating on both sides of the mattress prevents your sleeping bag from slipping on the mattress and the mattress from slipping on the groundsheet.

What material do we use on this mattress?

We use the same fabric on both sides of this mattress: 40 denier polyamide with thicker 45 denier thread to reduce the risk of tearing.

How to repair a leak on your MT900 Air insulating mattress

An inflatable mattress is not puncture-proof, but it can be repaired!

When using it, take every care when installing and handling it.

In the event of a problem, we recommend using self-adhesive repair patches (ref: 8557113).

What is the R-Value?

The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor.

The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress.

Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.



All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.

What R-Value for what use?

R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season (summer) only

R-value from 2 to 3: Use over 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)

R-Value from 3 to 6: Use over 4 seasons

R-Value > 6: Use in all 4 seasons and in extreme conditions (glacier, far north and high altitudes)
